Zoom L-12 LiveTrak 12-Channel Digital Mixer & Multitrack Recorder

The Zoom LiveTrak L-12 is a versatile 12-channel digital mixer and multitrack recorder, ideal for various applications such as live performances, studio recordings, band rehearsals, and podcasts. This compact mixer is equipped with eight mono channels, each featuring combo mic/line XLR-1/4" inputs that include high-gain, low-noise microphone preamps, +48V phantom power, and a single compression knob. Additionally, it offers two stereo inputs with dual 1/4" and RCA connections. Channels 1 and 2 are designed with Hi-Z inputs, allowing for direct connection of guitars and basses. Each channel is enhanced by an on-board channel strip that includes a low-cut filter, a 3-band equalizer, pan control, and a send FX option for routing signals to the 16 integrated high-quality effects processors, complemented by a dedicated EFX Return channel.

The primary output features balanced XLR connections, complemented by a stereo monitor send accessible through two 1/4" outputs. Furthermore, the Zoom LiveTrack L-12 is equipped with five headphone outputs, each allowing for personalized mix adjustments. Users can simply connect their headphones and modify the levels according to their preferences. The device includes nine snapshot presets, enabling quick recall of various configurations and sessions.

The integrated SD recorder is capable of simultaneously capturing every channel along with the master fader stereo signal output, resulting in a total of 14 tracks at resolutions reaching up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Files can be conveniently transferred to a computer for use in a digital audio workstation (DAW). Additionally, the unit supports overdubbing and punch-in/out functionalities, making it suitable for multi-track recording. The L-12 also operates as a 14-in/4-out USB audio interface, facilitating direct recording to preferred software DAWs or iOS devices. Other significant features include 12-segment LED meters for all channels, a built-in metronome, and a slate microphone for identifying takes. The Zoom LiveTrack L-12 is supplied with a power cord and a USB cable.
