Zoom LiveTrak L-20R 20-Channel Digital Mixer-Recorder for Stage Use

The Zoom LiveTrak L-20R is a highly versatile 20-input digital mixer and multi-track recorder, ideal for various applications such as live performances, studio recordings, band rehearsals, and podcasts. Unlike the similar L-20 model, the L-20R eliminates physical faders while maintaining most of its functionality. This model is designed for portability and can be mounted in a rack, complete with rack ears for easy installation. Additionally, the L-20R features iPad control, allowing the front-of-house engineer and up to six musicians to manage their individual monitor mixes via iPads, enabling adjustments to levels, EQ, channel effects, and more.

The mixer is equipped with 16 mono channels, each featuring combo mic/line XLR-1/4" inputs that include high-gain, low-noise microphone preamps, a single-knob compressor, and +48V phantom power. Additionally, channels 1 and 2 provide Hi-Z inputs suitable for connecting guitars and bass instruments. There are two stereo inputs available, which accommodate dual 1/4" and RCA connections. All channels are integrated with the on-board channel strip, which includes a low-cut filter, a 3-band equalizer, pan control, and two send effects for routing signals to the 20 built-in high-quality effects processors.

The LiveTrak L-20R is designed with balanced XLR main outputs, while the six monitor outputs feature balanced TRS 1/4" connectors, allowing for customized mix setups. Users can connect their headphones or stage monitors and adjust the levels according to their preferences. Moreover, musicians can remotely manage their monitor mixes on stage via iOS devices.

The integrated SD recorder is capable of simultaneously capturing every channel along with the master fader stereo signal output, totaling 22 tracks at resolutions of up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Files can be easily transferred to a computer for use in a digital audio workstation (DAW). Additionally, the L-20R serves as a 22-in/4-out USB audio interface, enabling direct recording to preferred software DAWs or iOS devices. The Zoom LiveTrak L-20R is supplied with a power cord and a BTA-1 Bluetooth cable for connecting to a master iPad, while other iPads can connect to the master via Wi-Fi.
