Equipped with the Zoom U-24 portable 2x4 USB audio/MIDI interface, musicians, songwriters, and producers can effortlessly record two sources at once to their computer, iPhone, or iPad, while also integrating MIDI equipment. Whether at home, outdoors, or on the go, the U-24 features intuitive controls and high-resolution 24-bit / 96 kHz converters that enable you to capture your creative ideas with exceptional quality. Additionally, it includes Ableton Live Lite and the Steinberg Cubasis LE iPad application, providing the necessary software to transform your musical inspiration into a polished production.

The U-24 is equipped with two low-noise microphone preamps that offer switchable phantom power and XLR-1/4" combo jacks. These preamps are capable of accommodating both microphone and line inputs, with input 1 including a Hi-Z switch specifically designed for tracking electric guitars or basses. The device also provides mix-adjustable zero-latency direct monitoring, stereo 1/4" main outputs, four RCA line outputs, and a 1/4" headphone jack, allowing for simultaneous output to speakers and headphones with independent volume control. Additionally, the headphone output is fitted with its own balance knob, enabling users to blend playback signals from channels 1-2 and 3-4 for tailored cue mixes.

The U-24, powered by bus technology, integrates all necessary tools into a compact design that can easily fit in the palm of your hand. It allows for recording with microphones, instruments, and more, whether at home or while traveling. The U-24 is compatible with iPhone and iPad, making it portable enough for any location. Additionally, it can operate on just two AA batteries, enabling recording in the most isolated areas.

To ensure proper connectivity and functionality with an iPhone or iPad, certain accessories must be purchased separately. These include two AA batteries or the Zoom AD-17 AC adapter for power, along with either an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit or a Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter. A USB Type-B to Type-A cable is provided for connecting to your Mac or Windows computer.

Inspired by the popular Zoom H-series recorders, the U-24 is equipped with high-performance low-noise mic preamps (-119.5 dB EIN) that enable recording and playback at resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. You can also use U-24 as a studio-quality headphone amp and listen to your favorite music in full fidelity.

The U-24 features a comprehensive array of inputs and outputs designed for efficient recording. It includes two XLR/TRS combo inputs, each equipped with independent gain controls and multicolored level indicators, facilitating connections to microphones, keyboards, mixers, and various other devices. Both inputs can receive 48V phantom power, while input 1 is compatible with Hi-Z, making it suitable for guitars, basses, and other passive instruments. Additionally, MIDI input and output jacks enable the integration of devices such as keyboards, controllers, synthesizers, and drum machines.

The device also offers separate TRS and RCA output jacks, providing versatile options for connecting DJ mixers, monitors, and additional equipment. Furthermore, an independent headphone output with its own volume control ensures optimal flexibility during monitoring. Each output (1-2 and 3-4) is also equipped with a dedicated mute button.

Additionally, Ableton's performance workflows allow musicians to elevate their music to live settings, where they can mix and record in real-time.
