The V3 is equipped with a premium microphone preamp featuring an XLR input, along with switchable 48V phantom power suitable for condenser microphones. It also includes a unique Enhance function designed to improve vocal clarity. A 3.5mm stereo aux input provides the convenience of playing along with music from a smartphone or backing tracks from a computer. The device features stereo line and headphone outputs, enabling simultaneous connection to a PA system and headphones, with independent volume control for the headphones.

Moreover, the V3 functions as a USB audio interface, allowing for direct recording to a computer, ideal for creating podcasts, song demos, YouTube videos, and more. It can operate for up to 3.5 hours using four AA batteries, be powered via USB, or be connected to the separately sold Zoom AD-16 AC adapter for extended use.
