The audio cable is useful for adapting microphones having a 3.5mm male 3-pole cord to cameras using a smaller 2.5mm mic jack. It is a coiled cord approximately 1 foot in length when relaxed. The 2.5mm male portion connects to the camera while the 3.5mm femail portion connects to the microphones 3.5mm male cord.
