Godox V1Pro S Flash for Sony

Godox introduces the V1Pro S Flash, which boasts an innovative design featuring a round head and a detachable sub-flash that significantly improves fill light across various scenarios. This professional version retains a compact, shoe-mounted format akin to the original V1 flash while adding enhanced functionalities. By attaching the included sub-flash to the front of the V1Pro S, users can enhance their portrait photography in both manual and TTL modes. This durable unit delivers a power output of 76Ws and is fully compatible with Sony cameras that utilize ADI / P-TTL automatic features. Additionally, the V1Pro S provides a zoom range of 28 to 105mm, a rotation capability of 330°, and a tilt range from -7 to 120°. Its round head guarantees consistent light quality, allowing photographers to create distinctive effects and unique looks.

Detachable Sub-Flash

The included sub-flash can be effortlessly attached or removed from the front of your V1Pro S. When activated, the sub-flash serves as an additional fill light, which is particularly beneficial for portrait photography. Users can modify the output of the sub-flash, ranging from 1/128 to 1/1, and adjust the exposure value from -3 to +3 EV in 1/3 increments.

Powerful, Versatile On-Camera Light

The V1Pro S supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec for managing bright backgrounds and shooting with wide apertures, as well as front and rear curtain sync and flash exposure compensation. Beside these characteristics, Godox has added a 2W LED modeling lamp that can be used for careful composition.

Rechargeable Battery

This unit operates on a rechargeable battery that is included with the purchase, offering a recycle time of 1.5 seconds, which is sufficiently rapid to keep pace with dynamic scenes. The flash's power output can be adjusted from 1/1 to 1/256, enabling up to 500 full-power flashes on a single charge. During continuous shooting, the V1Pro S can deliver 100 full-power shots before activating its overheat protection feature. The battery also includes a built-in USB-C port, facilitating direct charging from any compatible USB-C device. Furthermore, the V1Pro S is compatible with the PB960 flash power pack, which is sold separately.

2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System

Part of Godox's 2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System with a range of up to 328', the V1Pro S is a 76Ws flash that gives you the ability to choose between 32 channels and different groups. This way users can avoid interference with other shooters or fire each flash separately for complex setups.

Other Benefits

In addition to the hot shoe, the V1Pro S offers a 2.5mm sync port for a wired connection. The flash has a magnetic surface for lightning-fast attachment of Godox's optional accessory light modifiers.

Additional Information

The V1Pro S's flash head should be uplifted for use of the included sub-flash, which does not operate in wireless transmission or high-speed sync.
