Like the premium Pro-D3, the D30 offers three unique flash modes: Eco, Boost, and Freeze, catering to various performance needs. In Freeze mode, the flash duration reaches an impressive 1/21,100 sec, effectively freezing motion, while the rapid recycling time of 0.01 sec ensures reliability without misfires. With an extensive power range of 11 stops, adjustable in 0.1 f-stop increments, the D30 provides both flexibility and consistency. It is compatible with Profoto Air functions, including sync, TTL, HSS, and remote control, allowing users to easily manage strobe settings via a clear, user-friendly local display. Additionally, the AC power multi-voltage circuitry enables the D30 to be utilized globally.

The unfiltered light produces an intensity of up to 1500 lux at a distance of 3.3 feet, with a beam angle of 63 degrees and a field angle of 105 degrees. This LED modeling light achieves a luminous output of 3800 lumens, enabling brightness modifications from 100% to 10%, and boasts a color rendering index (CRI) of 94 for accurate color representation.
