The A10 features the same robust battery, now capable of delivering 450 full-power flashes, an improvement from the previous 350, along with a rapid full-power recycling time of one second and 20 wireless channels. A notable innovation of the A10 is its ability to synchronize with your iPhone camera. The Profoto Control and Profoto Camera applications facilitate a Bluetooth connection between your iPhone and the A10, eliminating the need for any additional hardware. This application allows for precise adjustments to the A10's flash tube power and LED modeling light, as well as control over standard camera settings such as shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, and white balance in 1/3 EV increments. Users can capture images in various formats, including HEIF, JPG, or raw, and the device even includes a self-timer feature. One of the most striking aspects of the A10 is its 2.75-inch round head, which can tilt and rotate. This feature significantly contributes to the A1X's ability to produce natural-looking light with a soft, gradual fall-off. The head includes an auto-zoom function that accommodates focal lengths ranging from 32 to 105mm, although users can manually override this feature at any time. Additionally, the A10 is equipped with a switch that permits users to set the main light to TTL, switch to manual mode for adjusting the output of manual units in other groups, and then revert to the original TTL setting stored in memory. The A10 also offers +/-3 stops of exposure compensation, which can be adjusted remotely to meet specific requirements. Included with the light are a Bounce Card, Flash Stand, and a nylon bag with a shoulder strap for convenient storage and transport.
