Auto Framing

Effectively monitor your subjects with the Auto Framing feature, which automatically identifies human figures and adjusts the frame to ensure your subject remains centered. This function is particularly beneficial for solo videographers, as it simulates manual capturing while allowing you to focus on your subject. When Auto Framing is activated, the camera will autonomously track a recognized human subject and modify the framing to keep the subject prominently displayed. The resulting footage can appear as if a human operator was manually adjusting the framing throughout the shoot, despite the camera remaining stationary. This allows solo operators to concentrate on engaging with their interviewees without the need to frequently adjust the camera's position.

Flexible Frame Rates

Easy File Transfers

The PXW-Z200 enables users to upload both proxy and original clips directly from a memory card to a cloud or FTP server. Files can be transferred automatically upon the cessation of each recording, provided the destination server has been registered within the camera. Additionally, it is possible to record proxy clips in segments and transfer them in sequence while recording. XAVC HS also permits the creation of smaller proxy files (up to 16 Mb/s) for easier previewing and editing. A firmware update scheduled for the summer of 2025 will introduce broadcast-friendly MXF wrapping.

4-Channel Audio
